Been away and now I'm back . . .

I actually was at Surtex in New York City, but unfortunately, my wee doggie doesn't understand what Surtex is. She did have a nice vacation at the kennels.

Little Bits and Pieces

I based this little illustration on my own little cute doggie.
The image appeared in Print Pattern Kids Book by Bowie Style published by Laurence King.

Get on Yer' Bike!

So the radio all day has been talking about the Giro D'Italia, an international bicycle race, which is having it's test run around Northern Ireland tomorrow morning and then on Friday at 5.45pm at Belfast City Hall, the race starts. Everywhere is pink! Buildings have been painted pink, shop fronts have pink window displays and I just heard a while ago, that the Mayor of Belfast is going to paint his hair pink! I happen to like pink, but I won't go that far.... I created some pink critters on their bikes!

These gift and stationery bits were spotted in Walmart. They have been produced by American Greetings and have my artwork on them.

The Merry Month of May

Here we are already on the 6th of May, time is going past so quickly, it feels as if it is sprinting.
On Friday I saw my very first Dance around the May pole. It originates somewhere in Europe, but we, ( in the UK) have adopted it as our own. Children form circles and weave in and out to diddle-e-dee music, ( slang for traditional Irish music).

Friday is a big day!

Off out to the hairdressers to get the barnet done tomorrow.  (Barnet, British slang word for head/hair).....
